Four N.C. State students were recently awarded scholarships from the YMA Fashion Scholarship Fund, a nonprofit made up of influential members of the fashion industry that works to offer support and encouragement to young people pursuing careers in design, merchandising, retailing and business.

Fashion and textile management majors Megan Stitt, Molly Gibson and Tyler Jackson, along with fashion and textile design major Kimberly Ring, were selected from a pool of 400 applicants from more than 40 schools to receive $5,000 scholarships from the fund.

The scholarship winners will be honored during the Fashion Scholarship Fund Geoffrey Beene National Scholarship Awards dinner on Jan. 12 in New York City.
