FROM THE PRESIDENT

MARC MASTRONARDI

As the largest and oldest scholarship organization serving the needs of the fashion industry, the Fashion Scholarship Fund seeks to identify and create career opportunities for young people nationwide. Annually we present scholarships of up to $35,000, leading the industry in support and commitment to education.

The future of the fashion industry depends on the success of our organization and the thousands of lives we impact. As a member of the Board I am passionate about the work we are doing to provide scholarships, mentoring and educational programs to the top college talent in order to bring them into the Fashion Industry. I urge you to explore how you, too, can become a part of our team.

FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

PETER ARNOLD

Since its inception in 1937, the Fashion Scholarship Fund has been working with and for the fashion community by identifying and nurturing promising emerging talent. We lead the industry in our support of and commitment to education and career placement in the fashion arts and fashion business. Annually, we award scholarships of from $5,000 to $35,000 to students from over 60 colleges and universities nationwide.

Our scholarship, internship and mentoring programs nurture and foster young talent, as students and as alumni after graduation. We are committed to advancing the careers of students and young professionals — the future of the fashion industry!

In addition to the approximately two hundred $5,000 scholarships we award annually, we also award eight outstanding scholars a $15,000 to $35,000 scholarship to pursue their education and career goals. Generous contributions from benefactors and sponsors support our mission.

As further support to scholarship recipients, we facilitate internships with prestigious fashion companies and provide career mentoring by prominent senior executives, some of whom serve on our Board of Governors. Participating companies include: Phillip Van Heusen, Randa Accessories, Calvin Klein, Global Brands Group, Nautica, 24 Seven, Levi's & Co, Ross Stores, Ralph Lauren, Macy's, Tailored Brands Group, Perry Ellis, Levi Strauss & Co., Kenneth Cole and Tommy Hilfiger, to name just a few.
